I should start by saying that I ordered the gold faucet and was sent black - which made me upset until I realized that I liked the black better, so maybe it was fate.Anyway, this is a heavy, well-constructed faucet for that semi-industrial look in your kitchen. It has a nice tall arc, and the mechanisms all seems to work well. I particularly like the fact that the handle for the valve is labeled H and C so you aren't guessing every time you (or a guests) turn on the water.The supply lines are generous in length and everything looks like decent quality material. The proof is in longevity and that will require an update someday in the distant future.I do wish the box had been made about an inch longer because they really had to squish the supply lines at the end of the box and I worry some people way get theirs with a link kinked, not that it should really matter once installed.
